3 DAY adjustment diet

​Adjustment Diet

DAY 1 small servings (remember your stomach has shrunk)
Breakfast –Raw organic apple chewed well
Lunch – Raw salad vegetables.
Dinner - Steamed vegetables, raw salad vegetables. Dressing: apple cider
vinegar, flaxseed oil / olive oil.

DAY 2
Breakfast - Fruit salad, goat’s or sheep´s yoghurt. Boiled / scrambled /
poached eggs. A fruit smoothie made with almond milk.
Lunch - Large salad, olives. One steamed vegetable. Cottage cheese or
goat’s / sheep’s cheese e.g. Feta.
Dinner - Large salad. Steamed vegetables plus brown rice plus vegetable
protein e.g. lentils beans, nuts (not peanuts).

DAY 3
Breakfast - Non-wheat carbohydrate (oat or millet porridge, wheat free
muesli, rice cakes, rye bread), honey. Fresh fruit salad. Goat’s or sheep’s
yoghurt. Dried fruit (unsulphured).
Lunch - As per the cleansing diet.
Dinner - As per the cleansing diet.
Allowable condiments: All spices except Table salt (introduce a bit of Himilayan salt). Honey (organic). From day 3, whole fruit spreads, tahini and nut butter (except peanut).

Reminder: The cleansing diet avoided the build up of an acidic system

by 80 – 90% avoidance of high acid forming foods - cow’s milk products,
red meat, processed foods, coffee, tea and alcohol. Stick to vegetables,
whole grains, and non-cow dairy. Nut milk is great and coconut milk is now fine in moderate amounts.

From day 4 onwards
BREAKFAST Smoothies (see recipes)
Meat eaters can re-introduce animal products at a rate that your system
feels is acceptable from day 4 onwards. If fish is in your diet, day 4 is
also the first day to introduce it.  Eliminate processed
foods and non-organic animal products as a long term aim. Start to
change your general diet to an organic, whole foods one as much as
possible.

• Ensure that you drink plenty of water ( filtered) – all other
drinks should be non-carbonated and caffeine-free (e.g. herb teas /
fruit teas, kumbutcha).
• 1 x coffee enema or herbal enema or garlic for candida and/or worms.
• Try to make sure that you take time out during this cleansing day
to relax, meditate, read a good book or do some yoga, have a
massage or other treatment – whatever relaxes you!

And to continue for the rest of your life …..

REGULAR DETOX DAYS AT HOME
Either Practice intermittant fasting at least 3 days a week where you eat only within an 8 hour period, eg 12 midday to 8 at night but best is 10 am to 6 pm
or
DETOX DAYS: Once a week / Once a fortnight / Once a month
The most important thing is to make it a day when you can take TIME
OUT.(The following detoxing advice is NOT for people living with cancer, as they should be following only the pH balance diet or the Ketogenic diet.)
• First thing when you awaken is drink 3 big glasses of water with a little lemon.
Start the day with hot water and lemon / ginger and dry skin
brushing.
• Drink only fresh fruit and / or vegetable juices throughout the day.
• OR eat only fruit – ideally eat just one type of fruit all day – green
apples are best (they contain pectin which helps with detoxing).
There is no limit on quantity. If you prefer you can just have brown
rice throughout the day.
